Joined US Navy Reserves in Oct 1963. Active duty from August 1965 to My 1973. Converted to "regular" Navy after 18 months. Served as Electronic Tech - ( Ended service in May 1973 as Electronics Tech 1st class (E6) after 3 deployments to Vietnam.

Attended ET"A" school (42 wks) '66-67. Attended Cryptographic school @ Mare Island, CA. 3 deployments to Vietnam followed. Participated in Navy Expeditionary Force to recover "USS Pueblo" from N. Korea.
Attended ET"B" school (52 wks) at Great Lakes. Attended additional Cryptographic Training (M.I.).. then Stationed Washington D.C. (1) Temporarily assigned ET lead ATCU (Air Transportable Comm Unit then (2) assigned to Cryptographic Repair Unit. Ended service in May 1973 as ET1 (E6). Eligible for E7 but did not persue.
